EMILY M. SHAFTEL
Coordinator, European Exchange Program
Emily Shaftel joined the Center in January of 2008. As Coordinator of the European Exchange Program, she oversees all aspects of this initiative, designed to bring young European leaders into the process of the American Presidential transition. She also supervises the design and publication of the Center's Annual Report and contributes to a variety of initiatives, including other publications, Agenda 2008 working groups, fundraising, and conferences.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, graduating summa cum laude in Liberal Studies and Women’s Studies.
