Book Event: Fight House with Tevi Troy

Book Event: Fight House with Tevi Troy

Every White House conflict derives from clashing views and interests. The President’s Cabinet plays a major role in collectively realizing campaign promises and creating new policies. A careful cabinet selection will allow for smooth coordination and execution of essential policies. Results from a poorly selected and managed administration with conflicting messaging can lead to backstabbing and dysfunction. How will Biden’s cabinet move forward? What policies will be shaped by internal conflict?

Tevi Troy, best-selling presidential historian, and former member of the George W. Bush Administration joins CSPC to talk about his book Fight House,” named one of the top political books of 2020 by the Wall Street Journal. Dr. Troy will discuss how White House infighting shapes policy or lack thereof, as well as explore the lessons learned from different administrations' and recommendations for the Biden Administration.
