The Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC) is a non-partisan convener of leaders and experts from the government, private sector, and academia that works to foster bipartisan solutions to our nation’s most pressing challenges, often with a national security focus. The Center’s approach focuses on research, convening, and leadership development across our program areas.
Research
Through comprehensive research, policy papers, op-eds, and issue-briefs, the Center offers nuanced understanding of critical policy issues enabling policymakers to make informed decisions. The Center also contributes to scholarly research through our peer-reviewed academic journal, Presidential Studies Quarterly.
Convening
For over 50 years, CSPC has been developing the next generation of national leaders through our flagship Presidential Fellows Program. We work to educate talented college students on the policy-making process, instill a commitment to civil dialogue, and empower them to pursue careers incorporating public service.
Leadership Development
The Center serves as a non-partisan convener of stakeholders, experts, and decision-makers to foster strategic consensus to tackle our nation’s most pressing challenges. Through both public and private engagements, we aim to provide an environment for candid and respectful dialogue that advances policy-making.
