Mr. Hidetoshi Azuma

Hidetoshi Azuma is a social entrepreneur with a vision for a sustainable, resilient society with the power of emerging technologies. He is a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC) where he facilitates U.S.-Japan legislative dialogue among U.S. and Japanese lawmakers on key geotechnology issues surrounding the bilateral alliance. 

Currently, he is the President & CEO of Resilience Japan LLC., where he promotes cyber resilience through strategic partnerships between Japan and leading U.S. cybersecurity solution providers. Moreover, he is the Executive Vice President of Crypto Asset Central Bank Foundation & Cognitive Research Laboratories where he advances cryptocurrency-related projects around the globe. 

Previously, he was the Tokyo-based Executive Assistant at Office of the President at Eurasia Group where he oversaw and expanded the company’s Japan portfolio while leading regular briefings on geopolitics of emerging technologies for government and corporate clients. His prior experience includes years of public relations career in Washington, D.C., including APCO Institute fellow at APCO Worldwide. 

He is a regular columnist at the Japan Times and has been published on major global media outlets, including Foreign Affairs and War on the Rocks. He received MA from the Elliott School of International Affairs, the George Washington University and BA from Waseda University.
