Mr. Maury Bradsher
Maury W. Bradsher currently serves as Chairman and CEO of District Equity, LLC (DE), the manager and holding company for a series of private equity investments across defense, healthcare, cybersecurity, and entertainment. Maury has successfully restructured and recapitalized multiple businesses into award-winning enterprises. He is a Wall Street veteran and highly successful technology entrepreneur whose breadth of experience ranges from being a corporate financier, operator, and advisor. Notably, he is a Tony-nominated producer for his work on Death of a Salesman.
Maury has advised some of the world's most sophisticated organizations and family offices and executed transactions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, totaling more than $100 billion in value. He has decades of experience serving on corporate boards across various assignments, including finance, audit, risk, compensation, and board nomination committees.
In 2022, Maury led the acquisition of WWC Global, Inc., a Tampa, FL-based management consulting business, which earned him Private Equity Wire’s Impact Fund of the Year award in 2023. Prior to WWC, Maury was the lead investor and Director of ASSETT Inc., where he advised the CEO on corporate strategy and board operations before leading the firm's successful exit in 2021.
As one of the top experts on investing across STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics) opportunities, Maury has been invited to speak about finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and related topics. He has spoken at a variety of venues, including the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Aspen Institute, the Milken Institute Global Conference, and the United Nations, among others. Maury is also passionate about DEIJ initiatives, particularly those related to affordable housing and increasing capital access for minorities.
Maury earned his BS degree from North Carolina A&T State University and his MBA from New York University. He serves on the Board of The MITRE Corporation, MICA Biosystems LTD (Chairman), and The American Pops Orchestra (APO). He serves as Senior Advisor to Star Mountain Capital, a $4+ billion asset management firm, and Verijet Holdings Company, LLC. He also serves as a Trustee for the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC), where he is the benefactor for the Vernon E. Jordan Jr. Presidential Fellowship.
