As part of our 2024 holiday giving campaign, we’re excited to feature weekly alumni spotlights highlighting our At-Large alumni.

The campaign directly supports the At-Large Fellows program, empowering the next generation of civic-minded leaders!

This year, we’re introducing a new way to give through monthly sustaining donations! When you make a one-time gift of $100 or become a monthly donor, you’ll receive exclusive CSPC-branded gifts, be entered into a raffle for tickets to our prestigious CSPC Awards Gala, and be recognized in our Leadership Circle.

Help us reach 25 donors before 2025 to help sustain and grow this incredible program!

What are you doing now?
I work as a National Organizer for Public Citizen's Democracy Campaign, where I coordinate and support hundreds of activists in hosting events nationwide. I am also a Bloomberg Public Service Fellow at NYU Wagner, pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration with a specialization in political action and advocacy.

How did you hear about the At-Large Fellows program and what inspired you to apply?
While applying for scholarships to pursue my master's, I noticed applicants had participated in the CSPC Presidential Fellowship program. Upon researching, I discovered I could apply as an At-Large Fellow despite my school’s lack of affiliation. The program presented an exciting opportunity to conduct in-depth research on a topic of interest and achieve publication through an esteemed think tank such as CSPC.

What is your favorite memory from the Fellowship?
My favorite memory from the Fellowship would be when we all got a karaoke room together as a cohort and jammed out to all our favorite songs. As we were a diverse group, it was amazing to see all the music that we loved and could bond over together.

How has the Fellowship supported your academic or career goals?
The fellowship supported me in gaining profound insight into the redistricting cases I was researching around the Voting Rights Act. It also helped me build useful connections with my mentor and facility advisor, both who inspire me for career goals in law and voter advocacy.

If you could have any job, what would it be?
My dream job is to be a voting rights lawyer, dedicated not only to defending the hard-won protections of previous generations but also to expanding them—modernizing our democratic system and ensuring political power is distributed equitably.
